This series contains materials relating to outside activities of the curators. Many curators were members of boards or advisory committees of schools and other arts or municipal organizations. In addition they participated on art juries, lectured at events, edited publications, and consulted as curators and art experts for other institutions. Materials include correspondence, lecture texts, notes, program information, and reports. In addition, this series includes records relating to the work of Barbara Millstein, including her notes on New York City history and information on city tours and activities with municipal organizations.
